Thursday night one of Strut’s infamous members, Jesse Greene, unveiled some of his pieces from Paris Fashion Week, and trips to the historic Paris. The pieces themselves showed the sublime beauty of Paris, Fashionable models off runway, and some stunning street photography.
The fashion shots were carefully curated and edited to give a 1980s flair in the cut and feel of the image to replace the over-present cell phone.
The evening had done something that doesn’t happen as often as it should; it created a disconnect from our cell phones and reconnected individuals to each other. The circles of both everyday casual and on-point fashionistas made for a vibrant room of people coming together to celebrate art, fashion and our friend, Jesse.
Jesse made it clear that while his art was expression, proceeds were to help the Houston community rebuild after a devastating storm which affected many of our friends and families. A food and clothing drive was also part of the event, success on both fronts.
If you’re interested in seeing more of Jesse’s work, the Alliance Francaise De Houston’s red door is open to visitors at 427 Lovett Blvd, Houston, Texas.
